‘GTA TV’ and ‘Rockstar TV’ trademarked by Take Two

Tuesday, February 21st, 2012

We imagine whatever “GTA TV” and “Rockstar TV” are to be a lot like either Fox or Spike, so it’s bizarre that Take-Two even bothered applying for a trademark for those names. Skyrim version 1.4.26 is now downloadable from Steam, and the general working theory is: if it breaks the game, it’s almost your fault for downloading it in the first place. (We jest!) Bethesda warns that only players affected by the issues found after the break should download the update

The Darkness 2 review: Shooting bullets off a list

Tuesday, February 21st, 2012

On paper, The Darkness 2 is a “linear, first-person shooter with some neat twists.” It sounds boring, and it was every time I played the game in a preview session before it launched. I’d hole up at some PR office in Manhattan and they’d run down a prepared spiel about ” quad-wielding ” or ” the Darkling .” The what? The premise behind Warp is as easy to remember as its name. Captured by a group of scientists and their dimwitted security squadron, an adorable alien named Zero breaks free from his shackles to run amok throughout an underwater installation.
