Thursday, June 2nd, 2011

Multi-Racing Championship (マルチレーシングチャンピオンシップ?), or simply MRC, is a racing game developed by Genki and Imagineer and published by Ocean for the Nintendo 64 and released in 1997. The game is compatible with the Controller Pak and the Rumble Pak.

In Championship mode, the player competes against nine computer-controlled racers. Finishing first advances the game. In Time Trial mode, players try to finish a course in as short a time as possible. Ghost car is included so the player can compete against the best time recorded. Free Run mode lets the player drive freely without other opponents or time limit. The VS Race mode lets two players compete against each other. The unlockable Match Race option pits the player against a hidden computer opponent in a night-time race.[1] Weather effects like rain, fog and snow are included.

Download Ms. Pac-Man – Maze Madness (Rom)

Thursday, June 2nd, 2011

Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness (ミズパックマン メイズマッドネス?) is a 3D, four-directional control (block-based) puzzle game starring Ms. Pac-Man. Unlike the previous 20th Anniversary Pac-Man World, it is not a true 3D game, but uses the same format (and likely modified engine) as the mazes which could be unlocked in that game via the Galaxian doors.

Professor Pac learns that the witch, Mesmerelda, has seized control of the Enchanted Castle using black magic and from there is planning on stealing all four Gems of Virtue (Generosity; Truth; Wisdom; Courage) to control the “four wonders” (areas of Pac-Land). He creates a device called a Pactrometer which allows Ms. Pac-Man to go to these areas to recover the gems before Mesmerelda can get them first.

Download Mortal Kombat Trilogy (Rom)

Thursday, June 2nd, 2011

Mortal Kombat Trilogy is a fighting game developed and published by Midway in 1996. It is a compilation of content from the previous Mortal Kombat titles, based primarily upon the gameplay mechanics of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. Trilogy follows the same story as UMK3, but contains all characters and most of the stages from Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat II as well.

Mortal Kombat Trilogy introduces the Aggressor bar, which fills as the combatants fight (twice as much if the opponent is blocking). When the bar fills, the character becomes much faster and stronger for a short period of time.

A finishing move known as a Brutality is featured in this game: it requires the player to perform an 11-button combo which causes their opponent to explode. (Brutalities were also added to the Mega Drive/Genesis and SNES ports of UMK3.) All of the levels that featured a Stage Fatality made it into this game except the pit II as no MK3 characters had the sprites for falling off the bridge.

Download Mortal Kombat 4 (Rom)

Thursday, June 2nd, 2011

Mortal Kombat 4 is the fourth main game in the Mortal Kombat series of fighting video games developed by Midway Games. Released in 1997, Mortal Kombat 4 is the first title from the series to use 3D computer graphics as well as one of the first games that Midway made in 3D. Eurocom later ported it to the PlayStation, Nintendo 64, PC, and Game Boy Color during 1998. An updated version titled Mortal Kombat Gold was released a year later exclusively for the Dreamcast.

The gameplay from Mortal Kombat 4 is similar to that of the previous games; one of the most notable additions is the use of weapons and objects during fights. The storyline chronicles the attack from the corrupted god Shinnok against his former comrades who trapped him in the Netherealm various of years prior to the series’ start: the other 17 playable characters take part in the battle between good and evil, with the forces of light trying to stop Shinnok and the forces of darkness attempting to conquer all the realms (Mortal Kombat Gold would expand the number of available characters).

Download Monster Truck Madness 64 (Rom)

Thursday, June 2nd, 2011

It offers improved graphics, an updated interface, new trucks and tracks and the addition of variable weather conditions from its predecessor. However, the game engine is essentially the same as that utilized in the original game. A testament to their similarity is the fact that most custom trucks and tracks are compatible with both games.

The “Summit Rumble” king of the hill tracks could only be played if one intended to compete online.

Again, “Army” Armstrong provides commentary for the game. However, his race calls have been updated, and new ones have been added.

Just like its predecessor, it contains an inaccessible truck, “Chuck’s Car” (a Chevrolet Camaro). It was intended to be unlocked by typing in “CHUCK” in a race. The game still displays this message when typed: “Restart the game to drive Chuck’s Car.” However, if one restarts the game, it isn’t there.

The game contains assets from older TRI games, like Hellbender and CART Precision Racing.

When the Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback wheel was launched, the installation cd also contained the game.

Download Monopoly (Rom)

Thursday, June 2nd, 2011

The first of the adaptations were released in 1985 with the release of Monopoly for the BBC Micro, Amstrad CPC and ZX Spectrum. Over the years, Monopoly has been released for different operating systems on the PC and Macintosh platforms. Also, versions have been licenced and produced for the NES, Super NES, Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo 64, Nintendo GameCube, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, Sega Master System, Sega Genesis, Sega Game Gear, Xbox, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, and Wii consoles, as well as mobile device (PDA/Smartphone) versions.

The game plays by the same rules as the standard board game, and allows for single or multiplayer games. When a single player game is chosen, the game would generate computer-controlled opponents.

One of the lesser-liked features of the game was that the players could play only in the exact style programmed into the game. This could be slightly different than the various “house rules” that many homes employ, and could cause problems. An especially problematic feature was the mandatory auctioning of un-bought properties, that led to rich players having a better run of the board. Some versions however, like the Nintendo 64 and PlayStation versions, do allow the most common “house rules” to be turned on, such as Free Parking jackpot, no collecting rent in jail, and unlimited houses/hotels.

Download Monaco Grand Prix (Rom)

Thursday, June 2nd, 2011

Monaco Grand Prix known in Europe as Monaco Grand Prix: Racing Simulation 2 is a Formula one racing game for the Nintendo 64, Sony Playstation, and Sega Dreamcast. It was released in 1999. The game is based on the Formula One World Championship, but does not have the licence to use drivers names, official cars etc. (The licence was held by Video System at the time who made F-1 World Grand Prix and F-1 World Grand Prix II.) The game does however have a licence to use Formula One’s official sponsors; Schweppes and Castrol among others[citation needed]. This helps to add to the authenticity of the game.

The sequel to F1 Racing Simulation recreates the 1997 season, featuring 17 authentic tracks, 11 teams and cars with their 22 drivers. The Monaco license is used, although the teams themselves are not licensed. A total of 22 camera views are provided. Telemetry is stored and analysed in a similar way to Grand Prix 2, and physics are modeled to be realistic. There are eight different modes to race, the new ones being a career mode in which you start with a poor team and must drive well enough to earn competitive rides, and scenarios recreating key races for particular drivers. Returning from the first game are Time Attack, a full championship, and a 50s retro mode. There is also a track editor to create your own tracks.
